Ezzie has been with Pearl since the two were both very small. Having grown up together and trained together their whole lives, the level of trust between them is absolute. Ezzie is very cautious and a bit of a perfectionist, and sees herself more as Pearl's bodyguard than anything else. As a result of taking this self-imposed role of hers very seriously, she's a little more suspicious of strangers than she really ought to be.

Daisy is a bit of an airhead, and seems to get a lot of amusement out of making herself spin in circles in the air. Though she's less disciplined than either her trainer or her fellow pokemon Ezzie, a few years of having Pearl as her trainer nevertheless means she manages to scrape together the effort for when it counts.

Marshmallow is a curious and cheery soul who gets very excited around people. When Pearl came across him in the Mausoleum, he mistook her for being a few years younger than she actually is and, seeing his chance to do what Drifloon are meant to do, attempted to carry her off. Instead, he got a scolding and then a good-natured pat on the head for his efforts. Initially only deferring to her due to her immense spiritual power, Marshmallow is now one of Pearl's most loyal and trusted Pokemon friends, albeit one who still makes mischievous overtures of kidnapping children every once in a while.

Haruto was once a small Pokémon with a big ego; since evolving, he's grown into it a little. He acts like your stereotypical flyboy, and has aspirations of being the fastest, sleekest Pidgeot in the sky, if not the fastest, sleekest Flying-type full stop. If this Pidgeotto could wear old-style aviator's gear, he would. He's prone to trying to show off to impress his Trainer and those around him. Time was when these attempts at posturing usually ended with him faceplanting after a failed stunt, but he's been making considerable improvements lately - which hasn't improved his attitude, in spite of the fact that he's scared of making Pearl mad.

Percival, or Percy for short, is a gentleman to a fault. He's the least fond of battling out of all of Pearl's Pokemon, but seems to see it as some sort of duty to battle to defend Pearl's safety or honour. As such, he makes a point of fighting fair, and conducts himself almost like an archaic knight.

Cassandra, or Cass, is fond of looking vague and mysterious and foretelling terrible far-off calamities. While everyone is panicking and feeling concerned, she will calmly declare that she requires more cookies to read the future more accurately. This usually works as long as she limits herself to about once a month. Sadly, Cass finds it very hard to limit herself; Pearl will often be predicted to simultaneously be buried in an avalanche, set on fire, paralyzed, and tossed into a swarm of Grimer.
